WAISTTRIMMER

Let’s begin with a question: what is the function of adipose tissue? Why do we have it?
The answer is quite obvious: it’s an energy storage.
Our body stores energy in the form of carbohydrates (called glycogen) and fats (called adipose tissue). Our glycogen stores are limited in their size – around 2000-2500 kCals. A part of it is in the musclecells – glucose that once entered the muscle can not leave it! It’s an energy source for the muscle cells. A smaller part of the glycogen stores is the liver. The glycogen in the liver has a special role: it maintains our blood glucose levels between meals - because glucose is the primary fuel for our neurons. During fasting our body will shift its fuel utilization towards fatty acids, thus preserving the glucose for the cells, that are unable to burn fat for energy (like red blood cells, neurons – they can burn fat, but it’s hard for fatty acids to pass through the blood brain barrier, certain cells int he kidneys).
Unlike glycogen, our fat stores are capable of storing almost infinite amount of energy. Even the skinniest guy carries multiple weeks worth of energy, in the form of adipose tissue,
There are different types of adipose tissue: brown adipose tissue is responsible for heat production, and has a much smaller role in triglyceride storage. White adipose tissue has two different types: visceral and subcutan.
Our subcutan adipose tissue has two functions: it serves as an energy source and an insulator. Subcutan adipose tissue is poorly vascularized, and fat itself has a low thermoconductivity, thus the insulating effect.
From an evolutionary standpoint – the more fat you have, the better the chance of survival – as the better equipped you are for the famine and the cold.
Let’s do a small experiment! Find a place on your body, where you have very little subcutan fat – shoulders for example. Touch it with one of you hands. Now find that spot, where you store your stubborn fat deposits (ladies: buttocks and thigh, gents: love-handles or muffin-tops). Touch that place too. You will feel the difference immediately. Your skin will be cold above the stubborn fat. That’s the result of fat insulating that part of the body.
The problem with the poor vasularization is that it can have a bottle neck effect during fat burning. An insufficient circulation result in the accumulation of triglyceride breakdown by products, like FFAs and glycerol, which can lead to a decrease and even cessation of lypolysis. Good circulation is a must for lypolysis. If the blodd flow of an area increases so does the amount of fatty acid liberated from that region. That is why Abs of Steel and Buns of Steel can help with local fat mobilization – they increase the blood flow int he area applied.
When we train, we start producing heat. Our body needs to increase heat dissipation to avoid overheating. The blood vessels in our skin dilate – and so does the vessels in our adipose tissue. The can aid in lipolysis. That effect can be further increased using Abs of Steel or Buns of Steel.
Another way to increase circulation is decreasing heat dissipation in the area. The more we increase heat production and decrease heat dissipation in a certain area, the more the vessels will dilute.
And here comes the SteelFit Waist Trimmer belt. Our waist trimmer belt, combined with Abs of Steel can further increase the blood flow to the area and the effects of the cream.
