HOW TO USE HYDRASTEEL

How to use HydraSteel if we do not compete and we just want to get rid of some subcutaneous water?


Prior to competition, competitors apply multiple techniques to manipulate their mineral balance and body fluids. Increasing water intake for longer periods of time followed by a sudden cut off, decreasing sodium intake and saunas are all ways to manipulate the water retention of your body – not to mention diuretics.


To achive that cut and dry look on stage, extreme techniques must be applied. It is not unusual for competitors to lose 5-8 kilogramms of water pre-competition. 

This level of dehydration is unnecessary and dangerous for the non-competing individual, who does not know his or her body that well.


Let’s assume that you follow a diet plan. Your body is accustomed to the water and sodium intake and regulates the volume of your body fluids accordingly. If you start taking HydraSteel, it will have a diuretic effect – if you change nothing in your diet. HydraSteel is a safe way to get rid of some excess water, without having to take the risks of the above mentioned techniques.


If you wonder how to use HydraSteel for the maximum results, I advise you to choose the option below that most fits your needs. Let’s say that you have a holiday or a photoshoot and you wish to dial in your physique and you start taking HydraSteel 8-10 days prior to the event.

  1. Have a fixed nutritional plan in the week before you start taking HydraSteel, and change nothing while taking HydraSteel.
  2. Have a fixed nutritional plan in the week before you start taking HydraSteel, and make small changes to maximize results (more ont hat later).


If it’s a one day event (like a photoshoot) I wouild recommend finishing off the whole pack the day before the photoshoot (so you start taking it 8-10 days prior). If it’s a holiday, I would have you take it in the first 3-4 days as well (I know you want selfies…). 

How to modify your meal plan to maximize the results (2. option above)?

  • Carb intake: Decreasing carbohydrate intake decreses insulin. As insulin levels decrease, sodium excretion in the kidneys increases. Consuming less carbs and HydraSteel at the same time will have compounded effects.
  • Water intake: consuming enough water ensures that your body „lets go” of the excess water. It’s a natural compensation necessary for survival to increase water retention when water intake is low.
  • Sodium intake: decreasing sodium intake for 1-2 days can have major effects on the amount of water that your body retains. I would advise consuming plenty of salt to keep your muscles and nervous system healthy and functioning, and only decreasing it 1-2 days prior to the „big day”.


How often can I use HydraSteel?


HydraSteel should be cycled. Only use it, when there is something coming up. Do not use it evey day and especially do not use it continuously. I would advise waiting 2-3 months between usage.
